How It Works

How do platforms link multiple accounts?

By correlating everything two sessions have in common: IP address and subnet, device fingerprint, cookies and storage, payment instruments, and behavioural timing. IP is usually the first edge they build because it is the cheapest to compute and the hardest for a casual operator to vary.

The consequence is cascading enforcement. One account gets flagged, the graph is walked, and every account sharing that origin inherits the review. Isolating IPs does not make the other edges disappear, but it removes the one that links everything by default.

How many accounts per proxy is actually safe?

One account per proxy is the standard for anything with revenue attached. Two to three low-activity accounts per IP is a workable budget compromise, and beyond that you are rebuilding the shared-origin pattern you bought proxies to avoid.

Static ISP or rotating proxies for multi-account work?

Static, without qualification. Rotation is the opposite of what account-based platforms reward: an account whose IP changes city between logins triggers verification loops even when nothing else is wrong. Rotating proxies are for stateless request volume, not for identities that persist.

How do I plan a pool for a given number of accounts?

Count accounts, add headroom for the ones you will open next quarter, round up to the nearest 25, and allocate the quantity across the countries your accounts are supposed to operate from. Pools scale by ordering more proxies rather than by migrating to a different plan, so starting small and growing costs nothing structurally.

If subnet diversity is a hard requirement for your platform mix, raise it with the team before ordering rather than assuming a particular distribution.

Will one banned account take down the others?

Not through the IP edge, if each account has its own dedicated proxy. Other shared signals such as payment methods, device fingerprints and browser storage can still link accounts, so proxies are one layer of isolation rather than the whole answer.

Do I need a proxy in each account's own country?

Where the platform localises by geography, yes — an account that presents as local should connect from that market. Allocation is country-level and set at checkout.

Can I add proxies as I open more accounts?
